SRI DWARKADHISH CHARITIES SABHAGRUHA PROJECT
An Appeal
Sri Dwarkadhish Temple was inaugurated in December, 1996 at Sri Saihari Kshetra, Apta Phata, Karnala, Dist-Raigad. In view of growing Religious, Cultural & various Social activities in the temple premises, especially after completion of 25 years of Sri Dwarkadhish Temple and also because of the construction of few more unique temples in the surrounding area, the footfall of visiting devotees here has increased. Every year 10 major Utsavs are being celebrated here. For these utsavs hundreds of devotees assemble & we are presently accommodating them under temporary Tarpolin Mandaps. Even Prasad (lunch/dinner) is served in an open area. However, inspite of wish, due to paucity of sufficient funds, so far we couldnt manage to construct a multipurpose hall where devotees can be provided with more better facilities in even more organised manner under a closed roof.
Since last couple of years because of constant growing popularity of the temples the number of devotees visiting here is even considerably increased. So it is now really becoming difficult for us to manage at ease the yearly Utsavs in an open area. Therefore, it has now been finally decided by the TRUST MANAGEMENT to construct a Multipurpose Hall to cater the growing needs. Many devotees & Phelanthorafic Organisations have assured reasonable financial support for this project.
We are now making an humble appeal to the General Public also to extend their generous financial support for this prestigious project and be a part this Noble & Religious cause.
Kindly visit our website www.sridwarkadhish.com to know more about Sri Dwarkadhish Charities & our activities. You may also take this opportunity to generously donate through the “Donation Window” available on the website. You will be able to even view the Perspective of the proposed project: ground + two storeyed building. The kitchen & prasad hall will be built on the ground floor, a multipurpose hall for religious activities like parayans etc. on the first floor and ten self contained rooms for the devotees staying back overnight on the second floor.
The constrution plans of the Project Building are already approved by all the concerned Authorities.
Yours sincerely,
For, Sri Dwarkadhish Charities

OUR INSPIRATION
Poojya Leelatai Karve
Sri Dwarkadhish Charities expresses their profuse gratitude to Sri Krishnaswaroop Late Poojya Leela Vinayak Karve, popularly known as Leelatai, for her blessings and guidance. This beautiful Dwarkadhish temple was constructed by Sri Dwarkadhish Charities, at Saihari Kshetra, AptaPhata, Karnala in 1996 and since then with her inspiration and blessing, lots of religious and social activities have been undertaken in the past twenty years.
For over four decades, Tai had devotedly and selflessly carried the spiritual mission of spreading Lord Krishna’s philosophy and message all over the world. She finally attained permanent place at the feet of Lord Krishna when she took Dhyansamadhi on 10th February 2003 at New Delhi. To express our gratitude to our Guru Param Poojya Leelatai Karve, Trust has named Dhyanmandir as Sri Leela Samadhi Mandirby creating a Samadhisthal. At the base of the Samadhi, the ashes of Poojya Tai along with her personal belongings and holy books are placed. Her Padukas carved in Lotus shape are installed for darshan for all the devotees and followers.
A Medical Centre known as Sri Leela Chikitsalaya, where expert doctors examine patients and offer outdoor treatment has also been started in the memory of Poojya Tai.
Poojya Nana Maharaj Paranjape
Shri Pandurang Balkrishna alias Nana Maharaj Paranjape, a disciple of Sri Swami Samarth Maharaj of Akkalkot was an inspiration behind the formation and activities of the Trust. Param Poojya Nana Maharaj stepped into Saihari Kshetra in 1982 and converted it into a Holy Tapobhoomi. His selfless service to the devotees of Swami Samarth Maharaj and his message of love, purity and well being of the Universe has always inspired us in carrying out our religious and social activities. Poojya Nana Maharaj always used to say, “Krishna and Maharaj (Sri Swami Samarth) are one and the same and every worship ultimately reaches at the feet of Lord Krishna”.
